MELBOURNE WEDDING CELEBRANT & MC
Whether you want an intimate elopement, a ceremony that tells your full story, a weekday wedding, or someone to MC your whole reception. Gee has been a registered Melbourne marriage celebrant for over 10 years, officiating 300+ ceremonies across Melbourne and Victoria. Find the package that fits.
Just the good stuff.
A beautiful, personal ceremony . No filler, nothing formal for the sake of it. Gee learns what makes you two you, writes every word around you both, and delivers it on the day with a professional PA and full energy. Typically 20–30 minutes.
Two meetings included: a meet & greet where Gee completes your Notice of Intended Marriage for you, and a final logistics session before the day. All legal paperwork handled start to finish.

“Gee was absolutely amazing! Firstly, she has the best personality and sense of humour which made our communication with her so easy… We were also very grateful for the opportunity to rehearse our ceremony prior to the wedding, and this settled our nerves a lot!”

Where your story becomes the ceremony.
For couples who want their ceremony to be a real highlight of the day, something guests carry home with them. Three dedicated meetings: a deep-dive into your story, a ceremony crafting session, and a final review. Every word written entirely around who you are as a couple.
Typically 30–35 minutes. Couples consistently tell Gee their guests assumed she’d known them for years. All legal paperwork handled start to finish.
Intimate, personal, unforgettable.
Up to 10 guests, anywhere that feels right. A rooftop, a garden, a favourite restaurant, a private spot that means something to you. A proper, legal, personal ceremony without the audience. Small doesn’t mean less. Sometimes it means everything.
Two meetings included and all legal paperwork completed and lodged by Gee, start to finish.
The best dates don’t always fall on a weekend.
The full ceremony experience on a weekday date. Same personalised writing, same professional PA, same two meetings, same fully handled legal paperwork. Any guest count, anywhere across Melbourne and Victoria.
More couples are choosing midweek weddings for a reason: better venue availability, photographers with open calendars, and a date that actually means something. The only difference from a weekend ceremony is the day.
The night runs because someone’s running it.
Gee already knows your day, your guests and your timeline — and carries that warmth straight from the ceremony into the reception. A custom running sheet is built together in advance: entrances, speeches, toasts, first dance, cake cutting, every moment. Then Gee manages the floor from start to finish.
Available for weddings, gala dinners, awards nights and corporate events across Melbourne. Gee can host the whole night or just the formalities — whatever the event needs.
All prices shown are indicative and may vary. Couples booking 1–2 years in advance are welcome to enquire — confirmed pricing is provided at the time of booking.
Melbourne's Bilingual Celebrant
Gee is one of Melbourne’s very few wedding celebrants who officiates in both English and Turkish. For Turkish-Australian couples, or Turkish and Australian families coming together, a celebrant who speaks both languages means everyone in the room — on both sides — feels part of the moment, not just watching it.
Gee is a Turkish-speaking celebrant who conducts your legal marriage ceremony in both English and Turkish — so every guest, on both sides of the family, follows every word. Sometimes called a nikah, it’s a fully bilingual civil ceremony, not a religious rite — with your cultural traditions woven in wherever you’d like them.
From Turkish-Australian couples to multicultural families blending traditions, Gee understands what it means for culture to be honoured properly — not just acknowledged. Every word is written with your family’s story in mind.

Good to Know
Everything couples ask before booking — answered honestly.
Elopement ceremonies start from $600. Short & Sweet ceremonies — personalised, beautifully delivered, typically around 20–30 minutes — start from $1,000. Midweek Wedding ceremonies (Monday to Thursday) start from $700. Love Story packages, which include three planning meetings and a fully personalised ceremony, start from $2,200. MC services start from $600. Book a complimentary 20-minute call for a clear quote based on your wedding.
Short & Sweet includes two pre-wedding meetings and a beautifully personal ceremony — everything covered, delivered warmly and concisely. It’s perfect for couples who want their ceremony meaningful but not long. Love Story includes three planning meetings and a ceremony written entirely around your story and your relationship — every word, every moment crafted to feel completely yours. It’s for couples who want their ceremony to be a real highlight of the day that guests remember for years.
Yes — and it works beautifully. Gee already knows your day, your timeline and your guests from planning the ceremony. Carrying that warmth and energy straight into the reception means your whole day flows as one seamless, personal experience. It’s one of the most popular combinations.
Gee handles everything. You sign a Notice of Intended Marriage at least one month before the wedding. On the day, you sign a Marriage Certificate and Declaration of No Legal Impediment. After the ceremony, Gee registers your marriage with Births, Deaths and Marriages Victoria — your official certificate follows shortly after.
As early as possible — popular Melbourne dates book quickly, and having your celebrant confirmed early means more time to build something truly personal. Nine to twelve months ahead is ideal; six months is workable. If your date is sooner, reach out and Gee will let you know what’s available.
Yes — across Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, Geelong, Ballarat and throughout Victoria. Elopements can take place almost anywhere meaningful to you. Destination and interstate ceremonies are also available.
Legally, both options result in a valid, recognised Australian marriage — the difference is entirely in the experience. The Melbourne registry office on Spring Street offers a short, efficient ceremony in a shared government room with a celebrant you meet on the day. It’s perfectly legal, but it’s not personal. A private celebrant like Gee can marry you almost anywhere — a garden, a rooftop, a favourite restaurant, a beach — and writes every word of your ceremony specifically around you and your relationship. The legal outcome is identical; the memory is not.
Yes — and Gee actively encourages it. She works with you to craft vows that sound genuinely like you, not like something you copied from the internet. Some couples write them independently and Gee helps refine them; others prefer Gee to write them entirely and then adjust together. Either way, your vows will feel like yours. If the idea of writing vows feels overwhelming, that’s exactly what the planning meetings are for.
Yes — the vast majority of Gee’s ceremonies are civil or non-religious, and they are every bit as meaningful, heartfelt and personal as any religious service. There is no requirement for any religious element in an Australian marriage ceremony. Gee can also incorporate cultural traditions, bilingual elements (English and Turkish), interfaith readings, or any other meaningful inclusions — whatever reflects who you are as a couple.
Absolutely — and it’s becoming one of the most popular choices for couples who want more flexibility. A midweek wedding in Melbourne means better venue availability, photographers and suppliers with open calendars, and often a date that genuinely means something to you rather than a default Saturday. Gee’s Midweek Wedding package is available Monday to Thursday, from $700, with the same personalised ceremony and two included meetings as a weekend booking. The only difference is the day.

Gee performs ceremonies across Melbourne and Victoria — from rooftop venues in the CBD to vineyard settings in the Yarra Valley, coastal locations on the Mornington Peninsula and regional celebrations in Geelong and Ballarat.
